to get up or lay low

So, I was able to get in a brief nap. Brief in that it felt like five minutes but in actuality, it lasted nearly an hour, which is unheard of around here. My dilemma is that no one else is stirring...I have one in his bedroom and the other asleep in the family room. If I dare move about, this quiet time is over! I think I'll write and work on my blog!

Independence Day

Nothing says Independence Day like boys running around in the front yard with sparklers after dark, oh and did I mention they were in their underwear! But, that really is freedom! My boys tonight were enjoying childhood free of fears, responsibilities, worries about what anyone would think of them. I love moments like that and really we should be in those moments of freedom more often than not. God doesn't want us to be bound up in fear and worry. We truly should enjoy this life of freedom and what a better place to do it than in this wonderful country founded on freedom.

Okay, here goes!

So, I'm pretty excited about blogging and to start off, Ijust want say that I may not always have something witty or insightful to say:) This is just a spot where I can think about daily happenings and reflect on them, a blog free of pressures! I thank God for this opportunity!! Yeah, I'm writing and it feels glorious!! Glorious is not a word I use often, but interestingly enough I spoke the word earlier today to an elderly lady when referring to the weather and I'm using it again now. I think it is a word of "maturity." Maybe, I'll grow into it!
